Alan formed Quality Irrigation in 1983 after his introduction to the industry in 1976 when he worked under the highly respected leadership of Bill Hawthorn in his company-now of 2iC Consultants. During that time Alan designed and supervised the irrigation at Hampton Court Palace. This covered all the planted areas from the Tilt Yard, round to the East Front, Privy Garden, Sunken Gardens, Knot Gardens and the Maze. From this platform of expertise Quality Irrigation was born.

Alan gained a Higher National Diploma in mechanical engineering at Kingston College of Technology in 1963- now a University. He gained two distinctions in the Theory of Machines and the Strength of Materials after three years of study.

We have a vast range of knowledge and experience in the design, installation and maintenance of landscape irrigation systems employing the latest technology along with the use of our two specialist moleplough machines. We work closely with other professionals and clients to achieve excellent results.
