Project Details

Below are the details behind each of our previous project.

Channel Tunnel

Channel Tunnel

Screening of railway marshaling yard by 1000 trees with trickle irrigation over a three year period and monthly monitoring visits during April to September. A successful system that limited the number of failed trees to a handful.

Dust Suppression

Dust Suppression

Systems have been installed at horse arenas and a refuse tip for differing reasons. The menage required irrigation to provide the right conditions for horse training. Irrigation for the refuse collection area was for health reasons.

A project was completed and worked successfully to ensure that clay did not shrink around the footings of a house called the The Owl House at Lamberhurst. Sensors in the ground monitored the amount of water present.

This proved to be a very cost effective solution costing £2,000 as opposed to the expensive method of underpinning. Probes were inserted in the ground to close the watering cycle when field saturation was reached.

Artificial Turf

Artificial Turf

The irrigation of artificial turf is essential for the protection of players and to provide the right playing conditions. Such a system has been installed at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre incorporating a 4 inch uPVC ring main feed from twin 60-90 cubic metre per hour pumps.

The result of this facility is to provide a high speed application of water before a match and during the interval.

Sports Ground

Sports Ground

Keeping the sports ground well irrigated provides a healthy and safe playing surface making it easier to run and jump and play on.  It can also reduce long term maintenance costs
